We have experienced many Road Scholar programs and this intergenerational one to Chincoteague and Assateague Islands was certainly one of the best! It was well planned to appeal to all ages, the leader and speakers were so knowledgeable about our surroundings, and the accommodations were excellent with a considerate staff. We learned so much about the history of the wild ponies and were surprised by a rocket launch from the nearby NASA space facility! A very special experience!

The program was very well organized, we learned so much about the island and the history of the wild ponies, it was enjoyed by the adults and children. The group leader and lecturers were all so knowledgeable.

This was my first program with my grandkids. It was perfect for two little girls aged 8 and 11! It allowed me to take BOTH of them during school vacation as it is an intergenerational program.

Chincoteague trip with my grandson was delightful! Great activities for all ages, and my 11 yr old grandson. NASA museum, information on rockets, and rocket launch for children were all great. The wild ponies were exciting to see close up, and all the planned activities were fun. The pool was fun, and organized bike ride and other activities were well planned.

We loved seeing the Assateague wild ponies and other wildlife. Local presenters told us about life there as they experienced it. The other participants were friendly and supportive, and our grandson found friends among the other kids. A delightful experience all around.
