Lofthus i Hardanger
The Hotel Ullensvang has origins dating back to 1846 when 14-year-old Hans Utne built a boathouse with a straw bed in the loft. Since then, the hotel has grown tremendously, gone through many iterations, and has stayed within the family for four generations. Sitting at the waterfront in the small town of Lofthus, the hotel is situated on the east banks of Sørfjorden, behind the Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau (National Park), and offers spectacular views over the fjord and Folgefonna glacier.
