Scott Walker operates a Fredericksburg-area historic tour company, Hallowed Ground Tours, and a video company, Heritage Media, which produces films on historic subjects. A 47-year resident of Fredericksburg – as he says, a 'newcomer' – he worked for 30-plus years in the Stafford County Public Schools. He is active with the Washington Heritage Museums, Preservation Virginia, the Historic Fredericksburg Foundation (where he is president), the two area Civil War Roundtables, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Civil War Trust, and the Central Virginia Battlefields Trust.
