I loved seeing the Great Lakes. A big hole in the map of North America was filled in with water I have chugged along on top of. I experienced new glimpses of the United States and Canada and gathered an appreciation of the huge differences between the two nations, in spite of being somewhat the same. Good trip.

I tried to go back and redo part of the survey and was unable to. Actually my mistake.

I'm so glad my friend suggested this trip. I would have never thought to take a cruise of the 5 Great Lakes, but now that I have, I have a whole new respect and awe of these marvelous geologic basins!

Touring the Great Lakes was a wonderful experience on a delightful small ship with an outstanding staff who were friendly and helpful. The dinners were wonderful. The breakfast buffet lacked imagination.

I looked forward to my first river boat trip and it was wonderful. Being able to "live aboard" and not have to pack and move was great! All of the journeys were filled with wonderful guides and experiences. The food and the staff were warm and friendly. I felt very welcomed.

Having an all Road Scholar cruise was an unexpected bonus compared to other cruises where RS participants were only a small fraction of the total. The quality of the excursions was excellent and I learned a lot quite painlessly. The Road Scholar staff was uniformly excellent. The small size of the ship lead to a more intimate experience where it was easy to get to know a variety of people. The use of the listening devices on the excursions freed us up to see more details of where we were without missing a bit of the descriptive narrative. I would have to rate this trip as among the best ever for us. The quality of everything was top notch throughout the duration of the trip.

The Victory I was refurbished nicely and is clan and comfortable for a small boat. Their crew and staff are excellent. Road Scholar seems to be feeling their way to manage this trip to match their reputation.

This was a delightful Trip .It was the first RS trip, and it won't be the last. The people were an impressive group looking for more learning, more history, and the beauty that exists throughout the world. The two Hotels we stayed at in Toronto and in Chicago were good. The ship Victoria 1 afforded us a wonderful trip on the Great Lakes.

You should increase the ability to go back and change answers. Questions later in the survey lead the respondent to want to change or elaborate on earlier responses.

The trip was so enjoyable that I have shared my two most-enjoyable times with several people already. Learning about the northern part of our continent--Canada and its "First Nations"--was important and interesting.

This is a fun, easy and enjoyable trip, highly recommended. I'd also suggest arriving in Montreal several days early and "see Montreal" on your own, as my wife and I did. Road Scholar made the reservations and worked with us to do this.

Even if one did not grow up around these Lakes as I did, everyone would and should learn more about these significant geographical waterways of the United States.

The Great Lakes are AWESOME! I thought I knew about them, knew their shapes, names, sizes, etc. but until you have been on them in a boat you really don't know them. I didn't expect them to be so huge. We couldn't see any land anywhere on several of the lakes. We might as well have been on the ocean. And I thought that, if I reached over the side and dipped up a handful of water, it would have to be salty.

Hopefully, your website will be fixed by now. I kept getting wrong information about my trip - date, origin, etc. Also, I tried to submit this questionnaire twice before, and it didn't go through.

The Victory 1 ship was outstanding and just the right size. The crew was very friendly and accommodating. Seeing and cruising the Great Lakes was a learning experience for me. The places we visited along the way in the USA and Canada couldn't have been better. I especially enjoyed the day on Makanac Island and seeing the Grand Hotel.

The Five Great Lakes program is a wonderful way to see that part of the world! Amazing HUGE lakes of FRESH water! Wish they could send it to California. A great program for those mature folks with mobility issues. The group leaders went out of their way to accommodate everyone. Highly recommend this program!
