This is a really fun trip. I enjoyed the early morning Yoga sessions in beautiful natural settings with our lovely wellness guru Lila. After Yoga, breakfast, then head out for the daily nature hike with our lively and knowledgeable group leader Reimer. We had so many wildlife sightings: birds, monkeys, butterflies, lizards, iguanas. The bus for our small group of 10 was very comfortable, and the fun driver Jimmy became part of our group. Lodging and meals were nice at both the mountain and beach locations. Both hotels had great pools for swimming. I highly recommend this trip for anyone who enjoys both Yoga and hiking. It is a perfect combination of activity and relaxation. This trip lets you experience Costa Rica's natural beauty up close and personal, instead through the window of a bus. Because the group size is small, there is ample chance to ask questions along the way.

Walking and Wellness in Costa Rica was interesting and fun. Beautiful accommodations, good food, a small enough group to bond together. The highlights were the group leader and the naturalist; both worked well together, knew their specialty information, and were personally charming.

This was my first Road Scholar tour but for others it was the tenth or twelfth! I can understand why people return to RS after Walking and Wellness in Costa Rica; I certainly intend to.

Good short program with lots of walking on hills. Borinquen showing its age but is beautiful and manicured with grass and sprinklers! Food excellent and beautifully served. Pool great, spa likewise. Careful with the mud bath if you have topical sulphur allergy. Sugar Beach rustic and beautiful but nothing much to do other than beach, small mostly shady pool. WiFi both places in office or restaurant only. Guide and driver great. Love the small group.
