Greetings, I already completed my survey on line last Friday, 26th of October. This trip was fantastic. I learned so much about the culture as Road Scholar promised. The accomodations, guides, food and transportations were comfortable, knowledgeable and tasty. We definitely got our money's worth. Our leader, Carol Burton was attentive, organized and such a sweetheart. I recommend this trip to all. I am looking forward to many more trips with Road Scholars. Thank you, Jenny (Genevieve) Polkowke capea1995@yahoo.com 406-671-0933

Program is interesting and just the right free time to enjoy local sights on your own. The program leader was exceptional. Places we visited were what should be expected on this trip. Trip is easy going and can be enjoyed by all.

The "Great Smoky Mountains by Train #21267" program did not disappoint. Activity level was as advertised, speakers were knowledgable and engaging, the Group Leader went above and beyond to ensure an outstanding experience and I never felt uncomfortable with my status as a solo traveler in the group.

Wonderful trip! Gorgeous scenery. Loved the train rides especially! Excellent, caring leaders. Carol and Bill. I especially enjoyed the folk music and history from Lee Knight. Driving through the mountains was unbelievable. Wonderful bus driver, Porter. The Ridges was an absolutely beautiful place to stay! Would have liked to spend a little more time there. Would recommend briefly touching on the Civil War but not spending a whole day on it. There might be a better Cherokee museum. All in all a very enjoyable time!

While this program provides a ton of information about the region, it really whets your appetite to learn more. It provides a terrific overview of many aspects of how the history of the area has shaped what we have today. Go for it!!
