Join lifelong learners from around the country for an outdoor learning adventure in picturesque Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem sets the stage for hands-on learning during Teton Science Schools expert-led small-group encounters in America’s most revered wildernesses. Hikes, wildlife observation, rafting and an old west cookout dinner are just a few of the memorable events in store for you and your fellow adventurers.
Activity Level
Outdoor: No Sweat
Hiking up to six miles over varied terrain in groups split by desired intensity. Paddling a canoe for 1-2 hours. Elevations of 6,200-10,450 feet.

  • Take a scenic float down the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park.
  • Ride the aerial tram to the top of Rendezvous Mountain for high-elevation hiking.
  • Become familiar with the various challenges that face local and wildlife managers.
