The highlight for me was going on this trip with my grandson and his other grandmother after two years of trying. I enjoyed the slot canyon, the Navajo guides, and the pontoon ride down to Lake Powell. My ten year old grandson liked the ranch activities best, especially the mini ATVs. Marsha and Kelly were a great team! I would have liked more hiking but the heat limited us. On the way home from the airport, my grandson said he would like to go on another Road Scholar trip!
On his return, our 14 yo grandson was asked by his mom to describe his trip in three words. He cheated. His reply was: "fun, educational, and once in a lifetime."
Entire trip was great except for the fact there was no milk available for lunches or dinners.
The Inter-generational Zion Program was fantastic! Really recommend it. My 84 year old husband and I (75) took our 8 year old grandson and all especially enjoyed the zip line, rafting trip, hikes, mini-ATV (grandson), seeing the slot canyon, meeting new people, and great tour leader and guides
Excellent program on paper and in person, thanks to Marsha the group leader. Amazing scenery, Colorado River float trip, hikes, geology lessons, birds of prey presentation, Utah history, Navajo elder presentation, and much more. Highly recommend.
