At a Glance

Bike the Virginia Creeper Trail and break trailside to discuss the history, people and culture of this region. Learn kayaking technique from an experienced outfitter before setting out on the North Fork of the Holston River launching from nearby Mendota. Evenings will include toe-tapping sessions of Appalachian music performed by local musicians, opportunity to explore historical downtown Abingdon, a performance at Barter Theatre, and more.
