This trip lived up to my expectations--you definitely need to be a walker..as you are on your feet most of the day. There is a lot of up and down walking but the sites are worth every step. Our guide Don was fantastic --I would love to have him for a guide again. The only other advice I'd have is bring a variety of clothes--It was much windier and cooler than I expected. Nice hotel; great people in t he group--lots of fun.

I don't consider myself to be a person who likes to vacation/tour large cities, but this trip changed my mind. Our leader, Don and his knowledge and love of this city gave me a great appreciation for all that San Francisco has to offer. Walking through the many neighborhoods gives you a great insight that you might not get by riding a bus. The walks were doable but you will sleep well at night from the workout. That's all the better for seeing and experiencing more the next day. Don also brought in guest leaders who were extremely knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. One suggestion that I would make would be to try to stay an extra day or two after the trip ends so that you can go back and look more in depth into places that you found interesting. 5 days in San Francisco is not enough and yet I don't know what could be deleted from this trip. This is a great trip and a fantastic value for the money. Highly recommended! 5 stars! Also the hearing devices are fantastic, please continue to make them available.
