The oldest Jewish residence in America and the Purple Heart Museum are on the agenda today with lunch and a cruise on the Hudson!
Breakfast is served in the dorm.
This morning we will start the day at Gomez Mill House followed by a visit to the Purple Heart Museum.
We plan on having lunch at one of the restaurants on the river with a spectacular view.
Following lunch we will cruise the beautiful Hudson River. The Hudson is a 315-mile watercourse that flows from north to south through eastern New York State. The highest official source is Lake Tear of the Clouds in the Adirondack Mountains. The river flows southward past the state capital at Albany and then eventually forms the boundary between New York City and the state of New Jersey. The Hudson's current changes direction four times every day as ocean tides pulse upriver to the Troy dam. It is called the 'river that flows both ways.'
Dinner will be served.
Following dinner we will have a farewell party!
