At a Glance

Gather up your grandchild and whisk them away to California’s Central Coast, where sea stars soak in shallow tide pools and whiskered elephant seals sunbath on sandy beaches. Together you’ll explore a coastal forest, spotting butterflies and raptors and playing games among the trees. Paddle in a kayak along a quiet bay on the lookout for playful otter families and fishing herons. When the tide goes out, splash around in tide pools as you hunt for sea stars, limpets, chitons, hermit crabs and maybe even an octopus! On a hands-on seaside adventure, have some “wild” adventures you’ll never forget.
