If you like to learn about the South, its food, architecture, music and culture, then this program is for you. Touring historic houses and plantations while learning about why they were built and when they flourished gives you an insight into the Southern heritage of our country. This is one tour where your time will fly by as you enjoy your time in the Old South.

I had been to Charleston before with friends, but we really got to see and learn about Charleston in depth. Our program manager and guides were world-class. The places we visited were inspiring. The flowers and beautiful houses will restore your soul! The Southern food and beach location really is tops!

I've visited Charleston many times over the past 12 years, but this program gave me a much better understanding of how the history, culture and architecture of Charleston all fits together. After this tour I am seeing the beautiful city of Charleston with new eyes and at a deeper level. It was wonderful to visit so many homes, plantations and other spots such as the Angel Oak and Tea Plantation with a guide and driver! I had a wonderful week!
