Staunton
The Stonewall Jackson opened in 1924 and was fully renovated in 2005. It is a full-service luxury hotel in the Colonial Revival style. With its historical character, custom interiors, and warm finishes, it was recognized by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as a winner of the Great American Main Street Award. An original 1924 one-of-a-kind Wurlitzer organ/piano graces the ballroom. The Hotel is located next to the Blackfriars Playhouse and just one block from Beverley Street, downtown Staunton's main street with coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, and bookstores.
