Konstantsa was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. She received master's degrees in biology and chemistry from Sofia University and economics from the University of Veliko Turnovo. She was a Ph.D. student at the Economic Institute before giving birth to her son and becoming a translator, which in turn led to an opportunity to lecture groups visiting Bulgaria. Konstantsa is a member of the Association of Bulgarian Tour Guides. She is fluent in Bulgarian, English and Russian, and also speaks Dutch, Spanish and German.
