A wonderful program with an excellent leader and terrific guides!

Independent City Discoveries: Quebec City provided the perfect amount of history, discussions, walking tours, and meals for folks who like to discover things on their own as well as with others.

This tour was both beautiful and very educational. It was bit chillier that I expected but that was not a problem. Get a grasp of Canadian and Quebec history and politics was a real plus from this tour.

This was our first road scholar trip and it was terrific. Quebec City was delightful with the feeling of a European City. This was an independent adventure so we had plenty of time to explore on our own after the informative talks and tours. The hotel was in a perfect location with many restaurants and cafes nearby, and all our included meals were delicious. Since it was a small group tour we were able to get to know many fellow travelers. It was a great intro to Road Scholar trips.

The Quebec Independent City Discoveries tour is great for travelers who enjoy just part of their time with group tours/lectures/meals and the remaining time on your own for independent exploration, meals, and down-time. Enjoyed this tour tremendously and will book a similar tour in the near future.

My friends and I loved this program! We thoroughly enjoyed Quebec City, and the combination of guided exploration and independent discovery (with great suggestions and directions) was perfect for us. Our program leader was outstanding, and the hotel and meals included were top notch.

Andrée Girard is such a authentically charming individual as well as consummate group leader that I would consider a similar adventure in Montreal just to enjoy another experience under her guidance.

Old Quebec City is a compact area that can be explored and understood quickly but continually holds surprises. It's filled with tourists (particularly during the musical festival week), but has abundant parks, restaurants, and other options for rest and revitalization.

This was the perfect program to begin my experience with Road Scholar. I highly recommend it.

This is a short trip packed with fun sights, cultural experiences, and scenic beauty. It was the perfect getaway for me--a single traveler with experience traveling to other continents. I hope to return for more Canadian adventures.

The Independent Quebec City program provides an excellent introduction to the area. It nicely mixes formal programming with free time and covered a great deal of ground in a relatively short time. I appreciate the focus on walking as central to understanding a city.

Other than the frequent rain, I thoroughly enjoyed this trip, my first Road Scholar adventure that will definitely not be my last. Sylvie Nadeau was an excellent host, and the speakers were great too. The hotel was centrally located in Old Quebec City within the wall and within walking distance of all the sites. Five stars

Very good

My brief trip to Quebec was terrific. I learned so much more than I would have had I gone on my own. It was a really rich experience. The guides and hotel were excellent.

Andre is the "parfait" guide:)

Your website has been valuable and helpful to us. I don't have any suggested changes.

The Quebec City Tour was excellent. We liked the location and accommodations at our hotel. The program was just a delight and 4 nights was perfect to take in this lovely city. The people in the city were very friendly & welcoming.

Loved this trip! I lost a day of trip due to airline cancellations but one I arrived I enjoyed the travels immensely. Tour guide was a joy and the group itself was very friendly. Quebec City is such a wonderful place to explore and I would love to return on my own to see more of the sights.

We enjoyed the program, limited by our delay in arriving by a storm at Chicago which resulted in two cancelled flights. I can recommend the program which is something like visiting a European city without leaving North America. The story of the French arrival in N. America began at Quebec City which makes it an amazing walk through some history.

A charming city with plenty of beautiful sites! Superb program leaders, delicious food, and life long memories! This was my first Road Scholar trip and look forward to more. Go ahead and sign up, you will be so glad you did!!

A great experience in terrible weather. We experienced Quebec City in three days of rain and wind. Nevertheless, an outstanding group leader who adapted to the weather conditions, superb speakers, and the charm of this accessible and welcoming town made what could have been a disaster into a terrific learning experience. Kudos to Road Scholar.

Quebec City was our first Road Scholar tour and we are hooked. We came home and began looking for our next tour.

This trip was a great one for those who want to try Road Scholar, like me, as it iss short in duration, and allows plenty of free time to explore. The old section of Quebec City is very manageable in size. The educational components are given by knowledgeable local people with great presentation skills. This was my first Road Scholar trip, but it won't be my last. Almost all people in Quebec City are English speaking, though I enjoyed trying my French. The city has history, beauty, culture, shopping, and wonderful cuisine in all price ranges.

The independent cities tour of Quebec City was fabulous! I had never been on a Road Scholar tour before, so this was a great way to get to know they type of programs that Road Scholar offers. Everything was well organized and coordinated, so there was no time wasted. I also liked having plenty of time to explore the city and museums on my own or with my travel companion. The food was outstanding too, due to great restaurant suggestions.
