This was my first trip with road Scholar..friends and family have gone before and encouraged me. I’m so glad I went. The program was great and the instructors were the best. I will be looking for another trip

Because of its French heritage a trip to Quebec City is a "taste of France" and a great vacation! Airfare is less affordable than going to Europe, the flight is fewer hours and the costs are affordable. It's also fun to hear and try to speak some tourist-French!

This program has it all - unique cultural city, great food, museums, natural beauty, special music, art, history, and the chance to try speaking basic French. It is an unqualified delight.

I enjoyed this adventure very much. I wanted to see Quebec City because of a Louise Penny book and this trip did not disappoint. Andree was wonderful and the other instructors were great. It was just the perfect mix of planned excursions and time on my own. My fellow travelers were an enjoyable group to explore with. I loved how easy a city it was to walk around. The hotel was in a great location to most of the sights.

We had a wonderful time in Quebec City; Andree was an amazing leader, and the instructors, Judith and Marie, were excellent. The participants were all very friendly and outgoing and we enjoyed getting to know them. We would have liked more time on Ile d'Orleans... next trip! We highly recommend this tour. Lindy & Will

This was my first Road Scholar adventure and it was the perfect introduction to this organization. The Independent Discoveries Tour of Quebec City was perfect. A well organized program with many activities to pursue and an equal amount of free time to explore on our own. A great combination. Plus... the Maple Syrup Pie was to die for.

If you’re looking for a Paris/European feel vacation, this program is for you. The hotel accommodations were A1; the coordinator and instructors were top notch; the planned meals, delicious; and the free time allowed for lots of exploration.

Road Scholar provided a means to experience the best of Old Quebec City and environs -- it's history, culture, dining, shopping and lodging. This learning adventure was a delight from beginning to end.

This tour was both beautiful and very educational. It was bit chillier that I expected but that was not a problem. Get a grasp of Canadian and Quebec history and politics was a real plus from this tour.

This was our first road scholar trip and it was terrific. Quebec City was delightful with the feeling of a European City. This was an independent adventure so we had plenty of time to explore on our own after the informative talks and tours. The hotel was in a perfect location with many restaurants and cafes nearby, and all our included meals were delicious. Since it was a small group tour we were able to get to know many fellow travelers. It was a great intro to Road Scholar trips.

The Quebec Independent City Discoveries tour is great for travelers who enjoy just part of their time with group tours/lectures/meals and the remaining time on your own for independent exploration, meals, and down-time. Enjoyed this tour tremendously and will book a similar tour in the near future.

My friends and I loved this program! We thoroughly enjoyed Quebec City, and the combination of guided exploration and independent discovery (with great suggestions and directions) was perfect for us. Our program leader was outstanding, and the hotel and meals included were top notch.

Andrée Girard is such a authentically charming individual as well as consummate group leader that I would consider a similar adventure in Montreal just to enjoy another experience under her guidance.

This is a short trip packed with fun sights, cultural experiences, and scenic beauty. It was the perfect getaway for me--a single traveler with experience traveling to other continents. I hope to return for more Canadian adventures.

The Independent Quebec City program provides an excellent introduction to the area. It nicely mixes formal programming with free time and covered a great deal of ground in a relatively short time. I appreciate the focus on walking as central to understanding a city.

Other than the frequent rain, I thoroughly enjoyed this trip, my first Road Scholar adventure that will definitely not be my last. Sylvie Nadeau was an excellent host, and the speakers were great too. The hotel was centrally located in Old Quebec City within the wall and within walking distance of all the sites. Five stars
