Victor Yampolsky
Esteemed conductor and violinist, Maestro Victor Yampolsky is a professor of music performance at the Northwestern University School of Music, and serves as the music director for groups including the Peninsula Music Festival and Omaha Symphony. Born in the Soviet Union in 1942, he immigrated to the United States and auditioned for Leonard Bernstein, who offered Yampolsky a position in the violin section of the Boston Symphony. Victor has since conducted over 70 orchestras throughout the world.
