This program is interesting, informative and enjoyable. I thought it one of the best programs I attended. I enjoyed it and I think you will too.

If you want to see what coastal Alaska small town living is like then this is the trip for you. Yes, you get to visit the more traditional cruise ports but all the excursions let you experience the culture and history of Alaska.

This was an absolutely outstanding program! Our leader, John has a vast reservoir of knowledge about Alaska and was so willing and able to share it... I learned much more about Coastal Alaska than I ever dreamed I would... John himself was a superb leader in all respects. He went out of his way to help those who needed a little extra help. He was the consummate professional... Holland America also provided an ideal platform for this experience...

This program is not to be missed. The length of the program allows participants to see parts of Alaska - Anchorage, Homer, Kodiak that could not be seen on an "inside Passage" tour. Those extra stops were wonderful and the scenery along the way was spectacular. The group leader John Scheerens is Fabulous.

This was our fourth Road Scholar trip. We will definitely take more. It was a good value. It was a great way to see Alaska.

We had another great trip with Road Scholar. This trip goes to ports that most other cruises do not. It was a great value. You will not be disappointed.

This Road Scholar Alaskan cruise is one of the best! We met others on the ship that have taken this cruise multiple times. And with Road Scholar and your tour guide John you can’t go wrong picking this trip. Especially if this is your first and perhaps only time to go to Alaska. John is such a great resource of knowledge and history of Alaska that comes from a lifetime of research and first hand experience. He is a great story teller and a great facilitator. Enjoy!
