Once again, I have nothing but praise for Road Scholar travel programs: experienced and informed guides (kudos Peggy, Kim, and Michele); pleasant hotel, great restaurants, with suggestions for "don't miss" sights/opportunities, plus exceptional program organization (merci, Andre) and all this for a reasonable price. The independent travel style is a great balance of guided touring and freedom to customize my visit my way. Thanks, Road Scholar!

This was my first experience with Road Scholar, although my mother (with whom I was traveling) had been on one other trip and loved it. I was VERY impressed. I'm 46 years old and therefore somewhat younger than many of the participants, but I enjoyed myself immensely and felt the group had a very young spirit and all of the people were lovely. I was also impressed with the amount of walking everyone did--I exercise regularly and felt certain that the level of challenge listed was calibrated for "older" people and would therefore feel very easy for me. Well, it is a LOT of walking--but it's great and the city is so beautiful you hardly even notice that you've been on your feet for the last 2 hours. I would recommend Road Scholar, and this trip in particular (Montreal: Independent Discovery) to anyone, of any age. It was amazing!

Great introduction to a fabulous city and the French culture in Canada. Montreal is full of history yet very modern in it's thinking.

This was one of the best trips we have had. Enjoyed Montreal and the people leading our group.
