Outstanding leaders, participants & small group experience! Would enjoy any trip with Jan & Sylvia as leaders! Hiking was more than "moderately challenging" albeit excellent because our leaders were able to beautifully accommodate all ability levels without compromising the program goals. A fabulous experience!!!

This was just a fantastic trip. The fact that it was all women increased the camaraderie and fun of the group. The hiking was quite challenging and it is necessary to work on getting in shape for the trip. The scenery was amazing, the group leaders were excellent, and the whole trip was very well-organized.

Wonderful trip, great leaders but very physically challenging for me.

I highly recommend this trip. Views are perfect. Weather is just perfect. Time of the year is perfect to watch Elks. Just make sure you do cardio few months before the trip if you are not used to high elevations.

Don't come on this hike if you are not prepared to hike above 12,000 ft at a reasonable pace. You can make the other participants miserable if all have to wait for you. This is a wonderful trip that can be ruined by those not prepared to do the hikes.

Be prepared for the changes in elevation which may impact your experience especially if you have medical issues. This was my 4th Road Scholar experience and I would probably do the program again because of the area and the leaders. The accommodations were superb and close to the national park entrance, saving us from the traffic of Estes Park downtown. Rocky Mountain Park is a gem!

Wonderful to spend almost a week with only women doing challenging exercise in a beautiful national park. I wish had used a more comfortable backpack. If you plan on taking this trip, make sure your pack has supportive (horizontal) waste and shoulder straps.

What a week! I had a wonderful time hiking with Jan, Sylvia, Shaun, and the rest of the group. They provided a safe and supportive environment in which I felt comfortable to challenge myself and experience the beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Definitely challenging; definitely a beautiful National Park; definitely a great adventure!
