Really enjoyed this watercolor workshop. The instructor, Toni Chaplin, was excellent and we all learned many techniques from her. The setting at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort was also quite lovely.

Loved this program. Great organization and instruction

Toni Chaplin is a fantastic teacher. I learned so much. The accommodations were in a beautiful setting and the unexpected snow fall was an added bonus. The staff at the Shawnee Innwere very attentive and accommodating to the guest needs.

If you've always wanted to learn to do watercolor, then this program is ideal for you. The instructor is not only an extraordinary artist, but is an outstanding instructor.

This watercolor workshop is appropriate.for any aspiring artist from beginner through intermediate experience levels. The instructor is wonderful, very competent as an artist but also able to demonstrate and communicate effectively with her students. The historic hotel setting adds to the experience!

You will never lack for answers to your questions about watercolor. This program, and particularly our teacher Toni, filled in many blanks in my personal watercolor journey. Also, the Shawnee Inn was comfortable and attractive which helped a lot, in that it rained frequently during our trip.

I had a wonderful time at the Watercoloror Workshop. The instructor was so good, so well prepared and exceedingly patient with all questions. Her workshop could easily be titled "Watercolor Tips and Tricks" as she taught us many fun ways to add texture and details to our work. We had 4 or 5 paintings each by the end of the workshop, Every single person attending produced work they were proud of, This was a great experience, I hadn't painted in about 5 years and this proved to be the encouragement to get back to what I love. The facility also was enjoyable, The historic building was in such a beautiful setting that we often took evening walks after delicious buffet meals. I'm hoping to get back for the October Workshop.

Whether you would consider yourself to be an experienced artist, or a beginner, or even somewhere in between, this course is for YOU!!! I would have considered myself as being a 'blocked' artist, but with Toni Chapman's step-by-step approach, a creative and innovative technique, she teaches you to think on your feet and outside the box! And PLAY with paint. For me it was a Watercolor Bootcamp, that set me back on my feet, but even absolute beginners were surprised and thrilled with what they were able to achieve. A SUPER course, in beautiful surroundings, with great food! What more could you ask for???

A good introduction to watercolors and how to use them. The program fits first timers as well as old timers who are looking for "a fresh way of" painting.
