Afternoon: 5:00pm - Orientation begins – Meet your guide and take a closer look at our plans for the next 5 days. We will review the up-to-date daily program and any changes, discuss responsibilities, safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and answer any questions you may have.

Dinner: 6:00pm - Dinner with the group at Flavors Buffet inside Harrah's, Las Vegas

Evening: Free Time: Take this opportunity for personal independent exploration to see and do what interests you most. If you are interested in attending any of the many entertainment activities and would like to make arrangements before you arrive, entertainment information can be found on the Internet by accessing www.lasvegas.com. The Group Leader will be happy to offer suggestions or give directions.

Activity note: Expect to be on your feet most of the day. Casa de Shenandoah has uneven cobblestone terrain in multiple areas. Neon Boneyard is an outdoor area with little to no shade available, no seating is available.

Breakfast: Breakfast at Flavors buffet included

Morning: Tour Casa de Shenandoah, the longtime residence of “Mr. Las Vegas” Wayne Newton. Casa De Shenandoah is an oasis in the Las Vegas desert: 52 lush acres with natural artesian ponds, equestrian facilities, and exotic animal exhibits. Wayne Newton’s museum showcases his extensive car collection, private jet, entertainment memorabilia, and Native American artifacts. See Newton’s mansion, a Las Vegas landmark that has welcomed presidents, kings, and countless celebrities through its magnificent golden gates.

Lunch: Lunch at an off campus location with the group. Lunch provided (vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary restrictions options available)

Afternoon: Guided tour through the Neon Boneyard - Home to over 150 donated and rescued signs dating from the 1930’s to present day and located within a two-acre outdoor museum space, the unrestored collection includes signs from businesses, motels and celebrated casino resorts originally located throughout the Las Vegas valley.

Dinner: Dinner on your own. A meal voucher will be provided for the Flavors Buffet to use on an evening of your choosing.

Evening: Experience KA', a Cirque Du Soleil performance at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino on "The Strip"

Red Rock Canyon, Free Time (Afternoon & Evening)

Activity note: Visit to Red Rock requires optional, minimal walking. Tour the National Park by motorcoach with multiple stops along the 13-mile scenic drive.

Breakfast: Breakfast included

Morning: Field Trip - Red Rock Canyon State Park features scenic desert cliffs, buttes and spectacular rock formations. The Red Rock Canyon is located just a few miles west of Las Vegas and encompasses 195,819 acres within the Mojave Desert. Red Rock is an area of world wide geologic interest and beauty with its dramatic shapes and vivid colors. Begin the morning with a visit to the LEED gold-certified Visitor Center where you will have time to explore the indoor and outdoor exhibits before beginning the 13-mile scenic loop drive in the motorcoach. There will be multiple opportunities to disembark and take a few photos as you make your way around this breathtaking drive. Transportation will return you to the hotel no later than 1:30 PM.

Lunch: Lunch is NOT provided today, allowing you the chance to explore all the Las Vegas culinary world has to offer.

Gaming Board lecture, Mob Museum, Evening Show

Morning: What's in "The Black Book" - A Nevada Gaming Control Board Investigator will present information on gaming regulations designed to prevent crimes of cheating and fraud. The board's agents make as many as 500 arrests annually for cheating or embezzling from casinos.

Lunch: Lunch provided (vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary restrictions options available)

Afternoon: Spend the afternoon exploring the new Mob Museum located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, inside the historic former federal building. The Mob Museum showcases both sides of the notorious battle between organized crime and law enforcement through theater presentations, iconic one-of-a-kind artifacts, and interactive exhibits. Transportation will return you to the hotel no later than 5:00 PM

Dinner: Free dine - Dinner is NOT provided tonight, allowing you the chance to explore all the Las Vegas culinary world has to offer.

Evening: Experience a Las Vegas classic show on "The Strip"

Morning: Visit the Morelli House, a classic example of mid-century Las Vegas architecture built in 1959 as a residence for Antonio Morelli, the longtime orchestra conductor and musical director for the Sands Hotel and Casino’s Copa Showroom (1954-1972). Morelli House was relocated to downtown and restored as a historic preservation project by the Junior League of Las Vegas in 2001 to save it from demolition. The house is only open to the public by pre-arranged tour or during periodic open house events. The Morelli House was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Lunch: Have lunch on the street where it all began and experience vintage Las Vegas at the famous Freemont Street Experience. Buffet lunch at the Golden Nugget.

Afternoon: Examine "Sin City's" rich history with a fascinating and devoted Nevada historian.

Dinner: 6:00 PM - Farewell Dinner with the group.
