This was our first Road Scholar trip and it exceeded our high expectations. The mix of hands-on history, hands-on science and marine adventures was ideal for our 9-year-old grandson and for the friends he quickly made in the group. Our leaders were amazingly well-organized, but also kind and funny. Cape Cod is beautiful, of course, and you couldn’t find a better breakfast than we had at our hotel. Hard to choose between the blueberry oatmeal pancakes & the avocado toast!

Our first grandparent trip exceeded our expectations. The cost of the program seemed a little high, but it was all TOTALLY worth it! We could have visited some of the sites on our own, but so many experiences were only available to the Road Scholar tour group. Instead of driving from place to place (all new areas), I got to take a nap in a comfy coach while my 7yo kiddo had a great time with his peers.

My 9 year old grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. From Pilgrim history and Wampanoag Indian culture to oceanographic research and whale watching, it was engaging and educational throughout. A highlight for all the kids was the indoor pool at the hotel, where they spent as much free time as possible and got to know the other kids - which made the trip even more fun and enlightening!

This was a delightful program. The leaders were informative and related well to the children. The location of the hotel was a bonus. I highly recommend this adventure.

This was an excellent program for our 10 yo grandson AND for us (two grandparents). It was well-planned, very well-managed, educational, interesting, and entertaining.

A delightful look at the realities of English Pilgrim life and interaction with First Nation natives.
