This program was perfect for me and my 87 year old mother to attend together. The presenters were excellent and covered a variety of interesting material: history, politics, and music. The DoubleTree Hotel accommodated my vegan (plant based) diet, and they accommodated my mother's need for a walk-in shower (she is unable to step into a bathtub). The lectures were held in an accessible room in the DoubleTree and accommodated the several participants who were using canes and walkers. Highlights for me were Mark Levy's sing-a-long musical entertainment on New Years Eve, and the 1/2 day mini bus tour of San Francisco. The bus tour took us to surprising and delightful places in San Francisco rather than the usual tourist spots - and there were 2 scheduled restroom stops. The tour was appropriate for the elderly participants who were using canes and walkers because our guide assisted them in and out of the mini bus. There was a mix of solo participants, husband-wife participants, friends traveling together, and 2 mother-daughter pairs! The one disappointment was that our Group Leader failed to show us the highly advertised New Year's Eve Times Square Ball Drop. I give this program 5 stars!
