Afternoon: Hotel Check-in: Available from 3:30 p.m. Program Registration: 3:30-4:30 p.m. After you have your room assignment, come over to the Road Scholar table to register with the program staff and get your welcome packet containing your name-tag, up-to-date schedule that reflects any last-minute changes, and other important information. If you arrive late, please ask for your packet when you check in.

Dinner: In our private room at the hotel, enjoy a dinner buffet featuring salad, choice of entrée, and dessert plus soft drinks, coffee, tea, and water.

Evening: Orientation: The Group Leader will greet everyone and lead introductions. We will review the program theme, the up-to-date daily schedule and any changes, discuss safety guidelines, emergency procedures, roles and responsibilities, and answer any questions you may have. Indicated times are approximate; program activities and schedules may need to change due to local circumstances. In the event of changes, we will alert you as quickly as possible. Thank you for your understanding. We have set aside some free time in the schedule for your personal independent exploration. The Group Leader will often be available during free time to accompany informal excursions, activities, or meals that have been excluded from the program cost. You are welcome to join if you like, with any associated costs on your own. Continue getting to know your fellow participants, settle in, and get a good night's rest for the day ahead. A special feature of this program is the opportunity for kids and grandparents to participate in our very own Branson Showbiz Kids Variety Show the final evening. We’re privileged to have a theater professional who will join us this evening to help develop ideas and lead our first theater workshop as well as coaching sessions.

Morning: In our private meeting room at the hotel, “Showbiz Kids” kicks off with an expert presentation on the history of Branson to learn how this once sleepy little town in Missouri became the “Live Entertainment Capital of the World” — now host to more than 100 shows, more theater seats than Broadway, and more than 7 million visitors a year! Get insights into the Branson formula of “Faith, Family, and Flag,” how performers are attracted here and why they stay, and how real life showbiz kids become involved in some of the shows. Following our lecture we board the coach for a historical tour of the area with our hostess.

Lunch: Lunch today will be served at McFarlain's Restaurant

Afternoon: This afternoon will be gather in the meeting room for a lecture and presentation on the importance of wardrobe and costumes in the various Branson shows. A wardrobe professional from one of the top shows will conduct the lecture and presentation. We will be joined later by our "coaches" to go over the talent show rehearsal information.

Dinner: We'll board the motorcoach for a trip to the Dixie Stampede Dinner Show. At the Dixie Stampede, we’ll have a family feast that includes soup, rotisserie chicken, smoked barbecued pork loin, corn on the cob, potato, biscuit, dessert, soda, coffee, or tea.

Morning: This morning we will be joined by Dave Hamner of the Hamner's Unbelievable Variety Show. Dave will lecture on the art of illusion and magic, bringing with him a few props that he will use in tonight's show and will spend a little time teaching the kids a magic trick..

Lunch: Lunch on your own at Branson Landing which offers a variety of restaurants, shops and attractions. Your group leader will help you in planning your lunch.

Afternoon: This afternoon, we’ll re-group at The Landing, just outside the entrance to our hotel, for a “Ride the Ducks” experience. We’ll board an amphibious vehicle that will drive us through the Ozarks, and then splash into the lake for a fun afternoon cruise. If they want, the kids can even drive the “duck” on the lake. Along the way on land and in the water, our captain will tell stories about the area’s famous personalities, the Ozarks’ impact on American history, and Branson’s role in film, song, and even sports.

Dinner: This evening enjoy “down home” cooking with salad, entrée, and dessert, plus beverage choice of soft drink, iced tea, and water at popular local eatery Florentina's Restaurant

Evening: We’ll hop on our motorcoach for a trip to one of Branson's Top Variety Shows - The Hamner's Unbelievable Variety Show. Enjoy this dazzling display of magic and the art of illusion.

Morning: This morning we will be joined by our "coaches" for tips on our final night performances.

Lunch: At the hotel.

Afternoon: This afternoon we will attend a lecture and hands on demonstration at the Clay Cooper's Theatre with Matt Muhoberac and Amber Campbell, owners and producers of the #1 Hits of the 60's show. This afternoon's clinic will discuss various topics including wardrobe, make up, choreography and production. The children will be given the opportunity to learn lines and dance moves. See how it all comes together when we attend the #1 Hits of the 60's and 50's too Production and Variety Show. Be sure to stay in your seats following the show for a brief Q & A session with the cast.

Dinner: Enjoy a fabulous buffet dinner at the Grand Country Buffet .

Evening: Free time this evening. Go out to enjoy some of Branson’s many attractions, polish your act, or relax at the hotel - your hostess will offer suggestions.

Breakfast: At the hotel, choose from a buffet with eggs, pancakes or French toast, breakfast meats, breakfast potatoes, hot and cold cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, milk, juice, and water.

Morning: Today we meet with our theater professional who will work with us individually on preparing for this evenings performance at the hotel. We will work on our acts for the evening.

Lunch: Lunch is included today at the hotel.

Afternoon: Under the supervision of our theater professional, kids and grandparents will have a final rehearsal for our big variety show this evening.

Dinner: At the hotel, enjoy a farewell buffet dinner with salad, entrée, side dishes, and dessert, plus soft drinks, iced tea, coffee, and water.

Evening: It’s time for our very own Branson Showbiz Kids Variety Show in the meeting room. A local celebrity will be our guest star judge for this evening of fun and the excitement of performing. After the show, we’ll have an ice cream social to grab a float (or whichever treat we select) and talk about all we have seen, learned, and done in America’s showbiz town.
