Great teachers, interesting stops and lectures, good food and food choices, made new friends. The only thing I would have changed would be that the water color segment be later in the week after we had a chance to take our own pictures to create a memory of the trip. Doing the paint segment on the first day before we had gone anyplace left me unsure about what would create a memory.

Door County is a mid-west gem and the Road Scholar program provided an excellent overall view of the area and all it has to offer: history, geology, art, and physical beauty, all complemented by the nearby Lake Michigan and Green Bay.

Enjoy Door County in a wonderful setting. It is like walking back in time to a beautiful sanctuary. I have now done two unforgettable programs in Rowleys Bay

This program highlights the varied aspects of one distinct and beautiful county of Wisconsin. For us, it was a good first Road Scholar experience.

We were wanting an easy-paced, short duration trip to a beautiful part of our country that was within driving distance and this 6 day Road Scholar program to Door County Wisconsin more than exceeded our expectations! Even with the relaxed pace, there were plenty of activities each day to appeal to a wide range of interests. Rowleys Bay Resort served us well as a home base from which we made daily excursions to various parts of the county. The food and accommodations were excellent, and our small group of 22 gave us the opportunity to get to know everyone well.

Door County is famous for quaint villages, restaurants, and an abundance of art galleries. This tour includes so much more which highlights the agriculture, geology, history, and culture of the area.

Door County is a delightful place to visit - lovely scenery, moderate climate in the summer, much art to appreciate. This program captures the essence - where else might you visit a lavender farm or learn how to preserve a fish (taxidermy)?

This was my first trip with road scholar and I will certainly plan another. The trip was well organized and the participants were friendly. The group leader was outstanding. Door County is a beautiful area with much to see and learn. A wonderful trip.

As "first timers" to the Road Scholar program, we couldn't have picked a better trip. The group leader was exceptional and the daily presentations and field trips were superior.
