This was a real adventure and a great way to learn about the Queen Mary and Catalina. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to attend this program. If you drive, parking is expensive. Maybe Road Scholar could mitigate this cost!!!

Left home on my first Road Scholar trip to meet new friends and have an adventure...and I did! Met interesting and wonderful people from all over the country. The Queen Mary and its living history was a great first trip. Take this trip if you can.

The program to visit the Queen Mary and Catalina Island was expertly organized and all the activities flow very smoothly from one to the other. The right amount of time was given for everything, including free time to explore. The lectures on the history and art of the Queen Mary were very informative and interesting. Catalina Island was fun with a nice amount of free time to explore on our own. It was a very enjoyable trip.

The Queen Mary and Catalina program is fun and active, without being too active. There is sufficient free time built in so that one may just sit back and drink in the setting or go off and explore on your own. The field trips are interesting and the lectures informative. I'm glad that I went.

I would strongly suggest any senior interested in expanding their travels, and meeting people from various backgrounds to take a Road Scholar tour.

Which do you prefer? The dignity of a crossing on the Queen Mary, or impromptu fun on the beach at Avalon while enjoying their special ice cream cone? Get a taste of both in this course on RMS Queen Mary in her heyday, and Catalina Island, where no one really grows up!

1st program with Road Scholar and I couldn't have asked for more. Enjoyed the educational experience of both the Queen Mary and Catalina Island. Laurel was excellent as a group leader as well as the company of all those whom attended. Had a wonderful experience and plan to use Road Scholar again. Thank You~

This was the first of what I expect to be many Road Scholar programs. I really enjoyed the lectures and the free time to explore the Queen Mary. It's been years since I'd been to Catalina, now I'd like to go and stay for several days. Well-paced program and very good group leader.

The Queen Mary/Catalina Island program met all of my expectations. Although I've lived in California for over 50 years, I'd never visited either location. As always, speakers were well informed and entertaining, with very interesting topics. Good times, pleasant and friendly participants, great group leader.
