This was a great program. If you want to learn something about the geology, American Indian history and more modern culture of northern Arizona, this is an experience for you. Plus, it is a lot of fun!

My wife and I enjoyed the trip so much we will be recommending Road Scholar to all of our friends and family. We are also in the process of signing up for another trip this fall and are looking forward to going on more Road Scholar trips.

Excellent program! Both my husband and I enjoyed the our adventure, learned a lot and met new friends. Best of all, we had a lot of fun!

Travel and learn with Road Scholar! You will not be disappointed. It was so much fun exploring, learning and playing with a group who had similar interest. Our leaders were exceptional.

Take this trip and you will not be disappointed!

The quality and pace of this trip was one of the best surprises of my life. I was so pleased....wished we could have just kept going:) Would do it again in a heartbeat and look forward to doing the North Rim adventure someday soon. Thank you to our wonderful guides. Road Scholar is the best!!

AMAZING!! This is my favorite RS trip so far. Viewing the Grand Canyon from the river raft was incredible and rafting was so much fun. Viewing the Grand Canyon from the top was nice but nothing like from the bottom. Our leaders were outstanding and very knowledgable. There was a change of plans one evening and we were able to visit the Caverns instead of hearing a ferret lecture. I recommend you keep the Cavern tour on the itinerary as our group really enjoyed it. Loved the diversity of the trip as well and the chance to hike/walk each day. One thing I would recommend is to avoid the crowds at Desert View and stop at one or two of the viewing spots on the way to the Village. The tower was interesting but much too crowded to enjoy. Chuck and Vic were great leaders and it was a pleasure to have Mary joint us. Thanks for fulfilling my dream of visiting the Grand Canyon!!

This trip far exceeded our expectations. Even though we had visited The Grand Canyon several times, the explanations about the geology and the points of interest made it even better. My one caveat is on the River Rafting on the Colorado. The brochure says, "You will get wet." That is incorrect. You will get drenched. Take a waterproof jacket and pants and shoes that are supposed to get wet. Make sure you have a broad brimmed hat and good sunglasses and apply sunblock liberally and frequently. It's a great trip, but you need to be dressed for it.
