Morning: We head down to the immigrant neighborhood, The Lower East Side and be guided through the Lower East Side Tenement Museum; a completely restored tenement building. But not in the way you might think. In this museum, you'll be guided through the homes and lives of the actual tenants of these rooms that have been made to look just as they did when they were inhabited. You will discover the conditions in which millions of immigrants lived when they first arrived to New York City and America. Discover the dreams they arrived with and the struggles they met to make those dreams come true.

Lunch: Lunch on your own to explore any of the many immigrant flavors or split a pastrami sandwich at Katz' Deli

Afternoon: Ample time is given for you to explore this now trendy neighborhood before returning to the hotel with the leader or on your own.
