Afternoon: Welcome and Program Orientation

Dinner: A catered Welcome Dinner will be served buffet-style in the Conference Dining Room. Tonight's dinner will be Herb Roasted Chicken, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, Chef's choice seasonal vegetable, mixed green salad with assorted dressings, artisan dinner rolls with butter and apple pie for dessert.

Evening: Get Acquainted Program follows dinner

Anacortes History & Industry / Ferry to San Juan Island

Breakfast: Extensive breakfast buffet served in hotel Conference/Breakfast Room featuring, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, breakfast breads/toast, juices and coffee.

Morning: On our way to San Juan Island, we’ll stop in Anacortes, WA. We'll learn about the evolution and importance of Anacortes' maritime industries.

Lunch: We’ll enjoy lunch in Anacortes, WA.

Afternoon: We'll board the WA State ferry in Anacortes, WA - on our way to Friday Harbor. Enjoy the view from the inside passenger cabins or from the outside decks as we take our 1.5 hour journey through the archipelago to Friday Harbor.

Dinner: Our dinners are served buffet style so that you choose what works for you. Tonight’s dinner features NW green salad, home-made lasagna (choose from meat or veggie lasagna), and garlic bread – topped off with coffee, tea, iced tea, water and dessert of the day.

Evening: Evening presentation offers an insider’s look at contemporary life in the San Juan Juan Islands.

San Juan Island History / Ferry Trip On Inter Island Ferry

Breakfast: Continental Breakfast Buffet served by our private caterer in Conference Dining Room featuring: a variety of fresh fruits, assorted hot/cold cereals, assorted breakfast breads (toast, English muffin, bagel, etc) cottage cheese, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice.

Morning: We'll begin the day with a presentation on island history. Following our presentation, we will depart a walking field trip to the San Juan Island Historical Museum

Lunch: Have lunch the way you like it! Lunch will be served buffet style and features a soup of the day with salad bar (including green leaf / spinach salad, a variety of fresh raw veggies, potato salad, three bean salad, and more) - topped off with coffee, tea, iced tea, and dessert of the day.

Afternoon: Enjoy a field trip aboard the inter-island ferry as it chugs through the islands. On-deck narration from naturalist to answer all your questions and help spot marine and wildlife as you cruise the islands.

Dinner: Our dinners are served buffet style so that you choose what works for you. Tonight’s dinner features NW green salad, grilled chicken, steamed veggies, and red potatoes or rice – topped off with coffee, tea, iced tea, water and dessert of the day.

Evening: Evening presentation on trade, travel, and smuggling in the islands.

San Juan Island Excursion / Musical Farewell Program

Breakfast: Continental Breakfast Buffet served by our private caterer in Conference Dining Room featuring: a variety of fresh fruits, assorted hot/cold cereals, assorted breakfast breads (toast, English muffin, bagel, etc) cottage cheese, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice.

Morning: Enjoy a daylong field trip around San Juan Island. Begin in the morning with exploration of a National Historic Park (English Camp), followed by a stop in Roche Harbor, where you'll have the choice to visit either the historic Roche Harbor Resort Village (with its lovely marina and English gardens) or visit the Westcott Bay Sculpture Park (where you can view hundreds of outdoor sculptures thoughtfully placed amidst acres of quiet forests, wetlands, and meadows).

Lunch: Since we'll be out exploring, we'll enjoy a picnic/bag lunch today. Our caterer will provide whole fresh fruit, chips, bottled water, and a chef's choice fresh bakery treat for everyone. Each member of the group will build their own sandwich to their liking - choosing from an assortment of meats, cheese, breads, and condiments.

Afternoon: Field trip continues to the picturesque Limekiln Lighthouse, now a whale observation outpost known to locals as whale-watch park, and other points of scenic and cultural interest. Then, we're off for a visit to Pelindaba Lavender Farm. We'll end the afternoon at the South end of the island for a visit to the National Historical Park - American Camp. We'll return to town, where you may enjoy a visit to the Whale Museum (optional) or enjoy free time to relax or explore Friday Harbor.

Dinner: Our dinners are served buffet style so that you choose what works for you. Tonight’s dinner features NW green salad, prawns & scallops (in sun-dried tomato pesto), penne pasta and steamed veggies– topped off with coffee, tea, iced tea, water and dessert of the day.

Evening: Special farewell program with a local favorite. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Farewell and Departure

Breakfast: Continental Breakfast Buffet served by our private caterer in Conference Dining Room featuring: a variety of fresh fruits, assorted hot/cold cereals, assorted breakfast breads (toast, English muffin, bagel, etc) cottage cheese, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice. Breakfast is early on this day so that we may catch the ferry.

Morning: Depart Friday Harbor, San Juan Island via the Washington State ferry and chartered motor coach. The ferry departs at approximately 8:00 am and will take us to a chartered bus in Anacortes, WA. The program concludes in Seattle with drop off at SeaTac International airport(approximately 12:30pm) or the Radisson SeaTac Airport Hotel(approximately 12:45pm). Since we do not arrive at SeaTac airport until approximately 12:30 pm, we recommend scheduling outbound flights after 2:30 pm (to allow ample time to check bags, go through security check points and get to your flight gate).
