"The scenic Canyonlands of Utah proved to be an ideal destination for a contingent of avid hikers from our Central Texas Del Webb community. Enthusiastic local experts introduced us to classic trail routes while sharing with us their extensive knowledge of the area's geology, flora/fauna, history and culture. Comfortable lodgings and tasty meals further enhanced our enjoyment of this stunningly beautiful area of the country. This program truly exceeded our expectations!"
“Twenty-four members of The Melvin M. Belli Society, an association of trial attorneys whose stated purpose is to promote the international exchange of ideas among lawyers through meetings and education, travelled to Cuba in April 2015 and had the opportunity to meet with their counterparts in the legal community for an open exchange on the constitution, penal policies, foreign trade, social security and workers rights. There are no words, at least in English, to express our appreciation for all the work and planning and preparation over about a nine month period that created the perfect trip for us to Cuba.”
"It was a great program, very well balanced areas for intellectual, physical and social activities. It was just perfect for our group."

“Our birding club has enjoyed numerous Road Scholar programs – in Maine, California, Arizona, Montana, and Uruguay. All have been outstanding. Excellent organization, terrific instructors and lots of friendly, helpful folks made for some great birding experiences.”
“With so many trips to choose from, we had no trouble finding one that everyone wanted to do. Thanks to the Road Scholar team for making it completely hassle-free to organize!”
“This activity was planned in celebration of my 80th birthday. We deliberately sought some sort of intergenerational activity — to include all 13 of us [three generations involved]. This particular program fit each of the hoped-for aspects of the program, from attention spans to age appropriate programming to ease of accessing the site. As our family is widely dispersed from California to East Tennessee, this is an opportunity to still get the whole group together — and it did.”
“This was an outstanding program – well organized and presented. The boat and crew were wonderful and the guides at the many gardens we visited provided some wonderful insights into what we were seeing.”
“Want to have a wonderful travel experience, without the worry of what exit do I take/where shall we stop for supper/will the hotel I picked online live up to its internet description? Then let Road Scholar do all of that, and more, for you! Wonderful, thoughtful leaders, who always think ahead, as well as provide knowledgeable commentary on what we are seeing, whether from the windows of the coach, or hiking, or in a museum. The value, as well as the experience, cannot be topped!”
“Members of our temple group just returned from New Mexico’s Conversos and Crypto-Jews and it was a wonderful experience! The topic, the scope and breadth of the lectures, the selection of speakers – all knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and personable – were outstanding and we learned so much about the history, culture and struggles of these Jewish citizens.”
“Road Scholar programs are especially suited for Lifelong Learning organizations when combined with a prior overview study opportunity. This combination added a depth of understanding to our in-country lectures, home visits and cultural understanding of China.”
