On a journey for the generations, discover the natural grandeur of the Copper Canyon and the unique culture and traditions of the Tarahumara Indians, the natives who call this fascinating area home. With the train as your classroom, explore the enchanting villages of Cerocahui, Creel and Posada Barrancas, and delve into the nature, folklore and lifestyle that define this ancient civilization.

Highlights
• Visit with a Tarahumara family, observe a working Tarahumara ranch and learn how to make a traditional piñata.
• Participate in the traditional Tarahumara "foot throwing” competition.
• Explore the village of Areponapuchic to learn about Tarahumaran uses of wild plants.
