Experience Hawaii’s Big Island like never before! As one happy OHANA ("family") explore Hawaiian culture, history, music, the environment and Hawaii’s ancient lore. The diversity of the Big Island, the largest of the Hawaiian Islands, is a journey of a lifetime. With natural wonders like the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, you’ll hike through crusty lava fields, explore tropical rainforests forests and experience sunsets that look like paintings. You’ll have memories to share about your lava treks in the world's most active volcano and the amazing views of the skies atop of Mauna Kea. Enjoy cool breezes as you ride horseback through cowboy country in the hills of Waimea. Imagine swimming with your family in the warm ocean waters with turtles, dolphins and colorful marine life. Sing songs, learn to dance the hula and weave a lei of Aloha ending your journey enriched by new experiences and your new Hawaiian friends. For participants and kids ages 9-12. One child per adult.
