Explore the incredible diversity of landscapes as you travel through mountain passes, glacier icefields, alpine forests, rolling foothills and desert badlands. Study natural and human history on daily field trips and lectures that focus on geology, wildlife, flora, ecology and area history. Highlights include the world famous Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology to learn about dinosaurs, oceans and ice; the massive Columbia Icefields to see glaciers at work; age-old Native trails; ancient water-worn canyons and sparkling mountain lakes including Lake Louise.
