Service and Safari: Mammal Conservation in South Africa

In South Africa’s Soutpansberg Mountains, home to one of the highest-density leopard populations in the world, help scientists preserve biodiversity by directly monitoring these beautiful big cats as well as baboons, monkeys and other species. This active, hands-on, small-group Service Learning opportunity is presented in cooperation with Earthwatch Institute, an international non-profit organization that brings science to life for people concerned about the planet’s future.
