In Washington, D.C., the heart of U.S. foreign policy and government, explore the vicissitudes of the Middle East, from Israel and Palestine to Iran and Iraq, as you draw on a deep pool of first-rate foreign policy experts who help you understand the foreign policy-making process and the role of the Foreign Service. Examine a foreign policy issue from the viewpoint of another country’s diplomatic corps. Each presenter in this lecture-based exploration is an American Foreign Service expert and active or retired diplomat, and each presentation is complemented by an extensive Q&A session with the speaker.

Program in association with the American Foreign Service Association, established in 1924.
