Experience theatre from a different perspective! Discover the magic of theatre through play-oriented sessions and performances at the renowned Stratford Festival Theatre. Morning workshops conducted by Art Director Jim Schaefer, our instructor for more than a decade, will relate to the plays presented. Classes will enhance the level of comprehension of each play, outlining communication skills and techniques used by the playwright, the actors and the director. Discuss staging, wardrobe, makeup and wigs. Enjoy a picnic lunch and experience a costume and props warehouse. The magic continues in the feasts served at the Inn; enjoy an array of fine dining with menus crafted by our chef using locally sourced ingredients.
Daily topics will be selected from varying perspectives and a discussion will follow each play. See date notes and daily schedules for specific performance and program information.
