In the lush Belgian Ardennes in the town of Spa, immerse yourself in the French language at CERAN, one of the world’s leading residential language schools. This intensive full immersion language program includes specially-developed language training in the morning with afternoons and weekends dedicated to excursions in Brussels, Bruges, Bastogne and Liege. Ventures into the surrounding area unveil the cultural heritage of the region and provide opportunities to further your language skills as you converse with local residents.

Focus on speaking conversational French using the highly effective CERAN method. Language lessons focus on oral expression and comprehension using audio resources and small group classes. Expert lectures present Belgium history and culture, and introduce Tintin and the Belgian comic strip art. Indulge in the lavish public baths of Spa, which offer the same healing water treatments popular centuries ago. Samples of lush chocolate and Belgian beer offer culinary respite, and a cooking class, nature walk and evenings with local residents cultivate cultural understanding.

End your exploration of Belgium in the capital of the European Union. Enjoy the picturesque Grand Place with its 16-th century facades. Cruise the canals of the medieval and city of Bruges and relax in the lovely garden of the Beguinage.
