Bring your taste buds to the best of both worlds: Napa and Sonoma, the most highly prized wine regions in North America; and San Francisco, center of creative homegrown California cuisine. Experience exotic vegetable stands crowding the sidewalks and organic produce glistening next to handcrafted cheeses. Our walking field trip continues to "Little Italy" where we dine at one of North Beach’s traditional Italian restaurants. Then travel north to Sonoma for two nights just off the charming square of boutiques and restaurants. From here explore the wine regions of Napa and Sonoma. Field trips to wineries take you into the vineyards to learn how the grapes are grown, and into the inner workings of the magical process of turning grape juice into fine wine. Enjoy ongoing discussions of wine appreciation--and wine tastings--throughout. Educate your palate in the differences between wines. And take home the confidence that no-one's taste is better than your own.

Public transportation and private motor coaches will be used.

Itinerary

Independent arrivals to San Francisco, Calif., 3 nights; motorcoach transfer to Sonoma, Calif., 2 nights; motorcoach transfer to San Francisco; independent departures.
