Baja California is an idyllic coastal paradise in which to study aquatic animals and human activity while basking in stunning natural beauty. The Sea of Cortez’ islands, deep ocean trenches and up-welling currents that carry nutrients to the surface make it one of the world's richest bodies of water, drawing sea life of all kinds into the scope of your in-depth study. Observe the area's marine biology, distinctive human culture, desert flora and fishing industry, and enhance your scientific exploration by snorkeling with sea lions, kayaking, swimming and boating to see gray whales.

Mexico

The oldest of the land’s found by Europeans in the New World, Mexico has endured a rough history at the hands of Cortes and subsequent invaders. Despite a turbulent past, the country maintains its relaxed and inviting charm with a mix of modern and traditional from its industrious cities to its captivating wildernesses.
