Be treated to several of Southern California’s finest art museums–and leave the driving to us! The LA area’s world-class repositories of great art and distinguished collections are available for public viewing in several grand museums. Discover the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Getty Center in Los Angeles, Norton Simon Museum and the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens all in one week! In-depth lectures at the hotel prior to each museum visit provide an orientation to the museum and enrich your appreciation of fine art and the art of collecting. Learn why and how these visionary collectors chose particular art and/or objects, where they gathered their collections and what compelled them to build their museums.

Walking and standing at museums up to 1 hour at a time. Walking inside at Getty and Huntington depends on interest level. Terrain is generally paved and flat with the exception of access to Getty Gardens which involves a slight incline.

Program coordinated by Road Scholar Regional Office.
