Dixieland is alive and well at the 31st Annual Dixieland Monterey Festival. Using professional musicians as guides and teachers, explore the dazzling world of Dixieland music. All-event tickets provided for each Road Scholar participant; Friday and Saturday nights are spent in a beautiful Monterey hotel near the performance centers. Fascinating classes on the history and inner world of this very American music combine for an exciting and educational week on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula. In addition to Dixieland, explore the wine offerings of Monterey County, the largest grape-growing county in California. This course examines the art and craft of wines and offers tasting for those who wish to do so.
