Two one-week workshops for recorder & viola da gamba players. Week I (October 31 – November 6, 2010) is designed for advanced & upper intermediate recorder & viola da gamba players. Intensive technique, masterclass & ensemble skills classes. Week II (November 7 – 13, 2010) is designed for low intermediate to upper intermediate recorder & early string players. Technique, consort playing, singing. Some space for harpsichordists to play continuo. Repertoire will include music from the medieval through baroque periods. Faculty members are all professional performers.
