Enjoy world-class golf instruction on Florida's east coast. Begin each morning with instruction on full swing, pitching, putting, sand bunkers and the game’s mental aspects, conducted in small groups by award-winning Class A PGA and LPGA teaching professionals. In the afternoon, practice what you’ve learned with on-course instruction with your PGA teaching professionals on our challenging 18-hole championship course featuring wide fairways and undulating greens. Suited for golfers of all levels.

Driving Directions
  From Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport to Bonaventure Resort Exit airport taking I-595 West approximately 15 miles. I-595 will run out; continue driving towards 75 North (Naples/Alligator Alley). Exit at the first exit, Weston Road (no exit number). Proceed straight, West on State Road 84 approximately 1/2 mile. Go thru light at Weston Road, to next left turn lane at Bonaventure Blvd. Turn left onto Bonaventure, beneath expressway and thru stop light, about 1/10 mile to Racquet Club. Turn right onto Racquet Club and proceed 1/3 mile to hotel entrance on your left.
  From Miami International Airport to Bonaventure Resort Exit airport and take 836 West (Dolphin Expressway) approximately 4 miles to 826 North (Palmetto Expressway). Take 826 North approximately 10 miles to I-75 North. Take I-75 North to Royal Palm Boulevard (old Arvida Parkway), Exit 15. Go West on Royal Palm Boulevard (old Arvida Parkway) to 3rd traffic light, Bonaventure Blvd. Turn right on Bonaventure and proceed North approximately 2 miles through 4 intersections to Racquet Club Road. Turn left onto Racquet Club Road. Hotel is 1/3 mile down Racquet Club Road on your left.
  From the NORTH - Sawgrass Expressway Route to Bonaventure Resort 869 After leaving the toll plaza, take the immediate exit on your left - Sunrise Blvd. Take Sunrise to second stop light - 136th Avenue, turn right onto 136th. Proceed south on 136th to State Road 84. Turn right onto State Road 84 and go West approximately 2.5 miles thru light at Weston Road to Bonaventure Blvd. Turn left onto Bonaventure beneath the expressway, thru stop light, about 1/10 mile to Racquet Club Road.   From the NORTH or SOUTH - Florida Turnpike to Bonaventure Resort Exit at I-595 Ft. Lauderdale. Take I-595 West approximately 13 miles. On Racquet Club Road make a right. The hotel is 1/3 mile down Racquet Club Road on your left.
  From the SOUTH via I-75 to Bonaventure Resort Take Exit 15 (Royal Palm Boulevard (old Arvida Parkway)). Go West on Royal Palm to 3rd traffic light - Bonaventure Blvd. Turn right and proceed north approximately 2 miles thru 4 intersections. Make a left at Racquet Club Road and proceed 1/3 mile to hotel entrance on your left.
  From the WEST via I-75 to Bonaventure Resort Take Exit 22 (Royal Palm Boulevard (old Arvida Parkway). Proceed East on State Road 84, thru light at Royal Palm, approximately 3 miles to East Mall Road (Chevron Gas Station). Turn right on East Mall Road and go 1 block South to Racquet Club Road. Hotel will be directly in front of you. Turn right on Racquet Club to hotel entrance on your left.
Equipment Requirements: Shoes/clubs/and approximately a dozen golf balls. Club rental available. Bonaventure Resort has Nike rental sets available for $45 per school day.

Day 1: Bonaventure Resort & Spa / Introductions and Orientation
(Sunday, March 15)
   
 Arrive To: Check-in at front desk, get settled in room and review itinerary. Dinner at approximately 6:30 pm this evening followed by orientation.
 Dinner: Coordinator will join you for dinner.
 Evening: Review program intinerary and meal schedule. Introduction to staff and particpants. You will be provided with a student golf manual from your PGA teaching professional. Manual contains a complete review of grip, stance, posture--take away, follow through, all of the swing dynamics and detailed instruction on short game techniques such as chipping--pitching--sand bunkers--putting as well as many useful drills.

Day 2: Breakfast at the Resort / Lessons / Clubhouse /Tee Time/ Dinner at the Resort / Evening Presentation

 Afternoon: Afternoon on golf course. PGA teaching professionals will provide on course instruction to each group for approximately 4-5 holes. After the school and on-course playing session, you will have unlimited golf available to you.
 Dinner: At the Resort
 Evening: Lecture topics will include: History of Golf, Rules of the Game, Evolution of the Golf Club, etc.

 Evening: Go out tonight after dinner and explore some of what the Fort Lauderdale area has to offer.

 Morning: Meet at putting green for final instruction. Golf Class #1: Practice Tee/Short Game Area. Break. Golf Class #2: Practice Tee/Short Game Area. Club fitting. Final work on full swing, chipping, pitching, putting and bunkers. Final work on different part of your short game.

  Sawgrass Everglades Recreational Park
Take a 60 minute airboat tour of the Florida Everglades. Your tour will be guided by one of our experienced captains who have received extensive training. During the tour, you'll listen to tales of how the Seminole and panther once coexisted in this lush wilderness. Also, you'll catch a glimpse of endangered wildlife as you skim across the glassy water. On our tours, feel free to let your spirit soar as you view nature at its finest. Note: All airboat ticket purchases automatically include entrance into our exhibit areas! There are alligators, snakes, lizards, Florida panther, black leopards, a bobcat and about 15 other species of animals to observe.   West Lake Park
Located 30 minutes from the Bonaventure Resort, West Lake Park is situated in southeast Broward County, occupying a 3-mile strip of mangrove estuary and uplands immediately west of the Intracoastal Waterway within the cities of Hollywood and Dania Beach. West Lake has 47,800 feet of waterfront with an additional 20,600 feet of mangrove-fringed shoreline along the interior waterways. There is no entry fee at the Anne Kolb Nature Center, but there is a $2 fee to visit the nature center’s exhibit hall. Both West Lake and Anne Kolb are part of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail. Picnic Shelters with water, electricity, grills, and tables, and six interpretive shelters with grills and tables are available. Patrons must reserve the use of the shelters in advance. Two playgrounds are available on the south side. The west playground is fenced and popular with toddlers. The Manatee Play Area, which takes the shape of its namesake, features a ship, swings, and a spray water feature, so bring swim suits and a beach towel. A Fishing Platform - Located on Tarpon Lake - is fully accessible for observation and fishing. Catch-and-release is encouraged and all State of Florida fishing regulations apply. From the Intracoastal Waterway, a 175-foot boat dock is available on a first-come, first-served basis. This area is affected by the tides, so water depth must be considered when docking. Overnight docking is not permitted. Walking Path: Enjoying walking, running, inline skating, or recreational cycling on 0.8 miles of paved walkways. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash no longer than six feet. Weather permitting, the marina offers boat rentals - kayaks and canoes - Thursday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last boat departing the marina at 3:50 p.m. For those who wish to launch their own kayaks/canoes, the marina's boat ramp is open regular park hours, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily.
