Evening: PRESENTATION: Golf Etiquette with a PGA Professional. Unlike many sports, golf is played for the most part without the supervision of a referee or umpire. The game relies on the integrity of each individual to show consideration for other players and to abide by the rules. Golf etiquette means all players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times, regardless of how competitive they may be. Far from being an old-fashioned concept, this is the spirit of the game.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 4: PGA Golf Instruction, Course Play, Evening Clinic
(Monday, June 30)

Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel offers a wide selection of delicious options.
Morning: GOLF INSTRUCTION FIELD TRIP: Learning requires a balance of advice and practice. Our 6:1 student-to-pro ratio ensures you get personalized instruction along with time to work with new methods, learn from other students, and try things over and over until you understand what you're doing wrong and what you're doing right. Today will feature a videotape analysis. Each participant will be taped individually and your swing analyzed by your pro using slow motion, stop action, and frame-by-frame, so you can completely understand the dynamics of your swing. The video is yours to take with you and continue to learn at home!
Lunch: Lunch at the golf club offers the selections you've come to enjoy.
Afternoon: GOLF INSTRUCTION FIELD TRIP continues: Learn more and put it into practice with your pro. The Original Golf School trademarked teaching method starts you close to the hole, so you can develop control before adding power. It emphasizes incorporating the big muscles of your body into your swing to improve balance and create a strong foundation.

Enjoy a round of golf with your new friends before returning to the hotel.

Dinner: Dinner offers more of the dishes that feature local products.
Evening: PRESENTATION: A video filmed by the Mount Snow Teaching Professionals explores the Long and Short Games of golf.

Accommodations: Grand Summit Hotel

Day 5: Morning Instruction, Afternoon Scramble Golf Tournament with Pro, Farewell Dinner
(Tuesday, July 1)

Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel prepares you for the day with another nice variety of appetizing foods.
Morning: GOLF INSTRUCTION FIELD TRIP: Work with your PGA pro on fine tuning your swing and aspects of course management. This will come in handy as we prepare for an afternoon “scramble” tournament.
Lunch: Lunch at the club is an opportunity not only to dine but also relax and get your head into the game ahead.
Afternoon: SCRAMBLE TOURNAMENT: Put everything you’ve learned into play in a 9-hole “scramble” tournament with the pro and your fellow Road Scholar participants. There are many variations, but in a typical scramble, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed. This is a great way to hone in on the fine points of course management.

Return to the hotel and enjoy some down time poolside or elsewhere before our farewell dinner.

Dinner: This evening's farewell dinner with our instructors is followed by a light-hearted "awards" ceremony.

Spend the rest of the evening with your new friends. You may not be able to resist regaling everyone with your favorite golf tales.

Accommodations: Grand Summit Hotel
