Share the baseball magic of Camden Yards with your grandchild this summer! During a special learning adventure in the heart of Baltimore, Md., see two Orioles games and go behind the scenes at Camden Yards during a private field trip without the crowds. Experience the thrill of a Bowie Baysox or Frederick Keys game and meet minor league stars. Round out your adventure with fieldtrips to Baltimore's National Aquarium, and Fort McHenry — the inspiration for the Star Spangled Banner.

Due to the MLB ticket policy, we cannot reimburse participants for a cancelled game due to weather or other act of god. We will do our best to provide an alternate activity and reschedule if possible.

Driving Directions
  From BWI Airport to Courtyard Marriott Baltimore Inner Harbor Take Baltimore/Washington Parkway (295) North, 8 miles until it turns into Russell Street. Turn right on Pratt Street. Turn Right on President Street. Left on Fleet Street, Right on Central Avenue, Right onto Aliceanna Street. The parking garage entrance, and then the hotel are on the right hand side.
  From I-95 N to Courtyard Marriott Baltimore Inner Harbor Take Exit 53 (Interstate 395). Follow signs toward “Downtown Baltimore”. Proceed Straight onto Howard Street. Turn Right at the Third Light onto Pratt Street. Proceed approximately ten blocks and turn Right onto President Street (past ESPN Zone). Follow President Street and Bear Left onto Fleet Street. Make Second Right onto Central Avenue. Make the First Right onto Aliceanna Street. Hotel Entrance is on the Right.
  From I-95 S to Courtyard Marriott Baltimore Inner Harbor Take Exit 57 (O’Donnell St/Boston St) and continue straight off of the exit ramp. Follow Boston Street west for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Aliceanna Street. Hotel entrance is approximately one mile ahead on the right.

Day 1: Arrival / Welcome Dinner/ Orientation/
(Friday, June 20)
   
 Arrive To: Arrive in Baltimore and transfer on your own to the Courtyard Marriott Baltimore Inner Harbor. There will be a Road Scholar desk on the lobby level of the hotel, 4:00 - 5:00 PM.
 Dinner: Dinner at hotel 6:00 PM
 Evening: After dinner, discuss the program itinerary, get to know your fellow participants, and and learn how to score a game.

Day 2: Camden Yards/Sports Legends Museum/Bowie Baysox AA Game
(Saturday, June 21)
   
 Breakfast: At the hotel.
 Morning: Behind-the scenes field trip to Camden Yards to visit some non-public areas and learn the history of the park.
 Lunch: Lunch in the Baltimore Inner Harbor.
 Afternoon: Visit the Sports Legends Museum, where you can browse historical memorabilia of teams and figures in the sports history of Baltimore. The rest of the afternoon is yours in the Inner Harbor, consider a visit the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum located a few blocks away, the National Aquarium, or ask your group leader for suggestions.
 Dinner: Enjoy a picnic at the Bowie Baysox Stadium.
 Evening: AA Bowie Baysox Game TBD

Day 3: Fieldtrip to the National Mall/Informal Ball/Major League Game: Nationals vs. Braves
(Sunday, June 22)
   
 Breakfast: Breakfast at hotel
 Morning: Coach to Washington D.C, and enjoy a fieldtrip to the National Mall.
 Lunch: Lunch at local restaurant in D.C.
 Afternoon: MLB Game: Wahington Nationals vs Atlanta Braves (1:35pm start time). Return to the hotel immediatley following the game
 Dinner: Dinner at the hotel or local restaurant

Day 4: Fort McHenry/Free Time in the Inner Harbor/Orioles vs White Sox
(Monday, June 23)
   
 Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
 Morning: Take a Water Taxi across Baltimore’s Inner Harbor this morning to visit Fort McHenry, where American forces prevailed over invading British forces during the War of 1812, and where the fort’s flag remaining aloft inspired Francis Scott Key to write “The Star Spangled Banner”. Take in the exhibits at the new visitor's center, then enjoy a self-guided tour of the grounds followed by a flag presentation, where a Star-Spangled Banner replica flag will be unrolled and discussed.
 Lunch: Lunch in the Fells Point area of Baltimore.
 Afternoon: Enjoy some free time in the Inner Harbor and consider taking in the exciting interactive exhibits at the Maryland Science Center.
 Dinner: Dinner at the hotel or local restaurant
 Evening: Major League GAME: Orioles vs White Sox (7:05PM) start time

Day 5: Farewell Presentation/Departures
