Visit maritime museums and a marine studies laboratory for firsthand insights into coastal history and lifestyles, and hone your palate for wine comparison and pairing with a tasting at a well-known vineyard.

Highlights

• Learn how to prepare local favorites in two cooking and tasting demonstrations and enjoy a field trip to a local seafood market.
• Visit, explore, and enjoy a tasting at the first commercial vineyard in Delaware, Nassau Valley Vineyards.
• With a local expert, set out to discover the history of Rehoboth Beach from the days of English and Dutch settlement to its current status as a leading Atlantic summer resort.

Activity Particulars

Walking and standing during tours. Mostly flat terrain but some slightly hilly areas encountered. Climbing stairs to second floor of several museums that are without elevator access.
