Date Specific Information

3-23-2014

On Tuesday of this week a unique opportunity has presented itself to us to join Bike Florida on their Daytona Beach Day of their Spring Ride. Instead of going to Blue Springs State Park (a 24 mile ride) and boat excursion we will have a once in a lifetime chance to ride bicycles around the 2.25 mile Daytona International Speedway on our way with Bike Florida to ride to the Ponce Lighthouse in South Daytona. The ride will include a break and lunch on Beach Street sponsored by Bike Florida and the Convention Authority. This ride includes a specially designed t-shirt and is about a 40 mile ride.
Enjoy the latest in hearing technology — listening devices — on this date.

Coordinated by Stetson University.

DeLand

DeLand is within easy reach of Disney World, the Daytona International Speedway, Sea World and Universal Studios. The town itself, known as the “Athens of Florida,” is surrounded by spring-fed lakes and acres of orange groves. The nearby Blue Spring State Park is home to manatees.
