Come to the beautiful Appalachian Highlands to sing songs of the sand and sea! Join us for a musical journey from Plainsong through Disney as we travel to the beach! We’ll cover a broad variety of styles and challenges, including a couple of Vaughan Williams folk tunes, Sumsion’s “They that go down to the sea in ships,” the “Navy Hymn,” “Mister Sandman,” an arrangement of “What shall we do with the drunken sailor,” and possibly even a tune from Disney’s “Little Mermaid”! Spend a great week with folks who absolutely LOVE to sing, and enjoy a choral mixture of classic, folk and contemporary styles!
